The question of the year! And the answer is... Y E S S S S S S S S!
Selling your home can be a stressful process. The job of a real estate professional is to take on most of that stress for you.

Agents have access to larger marketing platforms and listing services that other agents with buyers in the area have access to. This increases the amount of people that come across your listing, increasing the likelihood of it selling.
Agents hire professional photographers and videographers to market your home. I cannot stress this enough, this is KEY when listing your property. Pictures and videos are the first impression of your home that a buyer sees... If they are bad quality iPhone pictures, while your house is a mess, I promise that is a turn off to buyers and agents looking for their buyers.
Agents take care of scheduling showings and communication to other agents about your property. When someone has a questions about your house, it goes straight to your agent to handle, not you. This takes off so much stress from you, as the seller. Imagine a weekend where 20 buyers want to see your property. Can you even imagine scheduling that and answering all the questions that come with it, without a professional by your side??
Most importantly, agents negotiate on your behalf. Keeping your best interests in mind. All the paperwork, contracts, terms, and contingencies that you may know nothing about... they take care of it. Agents know how to get what's best for you.
I highly recommend using a real estate professional when you are wanting to sell your home. It just makes the process smoother and more efficient all around!
